Federal Firearms License

Bilson Arms, LLC holds a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). As a licensed manufacturer and dealer of firearms and firearm parts, we operate in full compliance with all applicable federal laws and regulations.

State Compliance Policy

Firearms laws vary significantly between states. Bilson Arms strictly adheres to all state and local regulations governing the purchase, possession, and transfer of firearms and firearm components. We cannot and will not ship products to jurisdictions where such items are prohibited. Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, and use of firearms and firearm parts. Before placing an order, please verify that the items you wish to purchase are legal to own in your jurisdiction. State Regulations Update: Firearms legislation is constantly evolving. If you believe our information regarding your state's regulations is incorrect or outdated, please contact us with appropriate documentation, and we will promptly review and update our records.

Age Restrictions

Federal law establishes minimum age requirements for firearm purchases. Additionally, many states impose their own age restrictions that may exceed federal requirements. Bilson Arms complies with all applicable age restrictions and will not process orders from individuals who do not meet the legal age requirements in their jurisdiction.

Firearm Purchase Process

All firearm purchases must be facilitated through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). When purchasing a firearm from Bilson Arms, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Select Your Firearm: Choose your desired Bilson Arms product through our online store.

  2. Find a Local FFL: During checkout, you will be prompted to select an FFL dealer in your area where you would like the firearm to be shipped.

  3. Complete Your Order: Provide all required information and complete your purchase.

  4. FFL Coordination: Have your selected FFL contact us at [email protected] or (337) 314-9481 with a copy of their FFL license and your order information.

  5. Shipping Process: Once we receive the FFL documentation, we will ship your firearm to your selected dealer. Non-firearm items in your order will be shipped directly to your specified address.

  6. Background Check and Transfer: Upon arrival at your FFL, you will need to complete the required ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check before the firearm can be transferred to you.

Restricted Items and State-Specific Regulations

Many states have enacted laws restricting certain firearms, magazines, and components. These restrictions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assault weapon bans and feature restrictions

  • Magazine capacity limitations

  • Restrictions on unserialized firearms or components

  • Special licensing or permit requirements
